Calls for Sessions and Workshops for the eLTER Science Conference are now open

Are you ready to contribute to cutting-edge environmental research? The eLTER Science Conference will take place from 23 to 27 June 2025 in Tampere, Finland and we are seeking your expertise! We're thrilled to announce the call for both scientific sessions and workshops to enrich our upcoming conference experience.

Call for Sessions:

We're inviting proposals for scientific sessions covering a broad spectrum of topics, from disciplinary research to systems syntheses and recommendations. Whether you're passionate about i) climate change, biodiversity loss, or unsustainable resource use; ii) linkages between biophysical, ecological and socio-ecological concepts in place-based research; iii) the spatial and temporal integration of environmental observations and modelling across disciplines; iv) innovative technologies and algorithms for observing environmental change in-situ or remotely; v) evidencing the value of multivariable long-term place-based observation; vi) methods for responsible and actionable research; vii) and the development of environmental and socio-ecological sciences; we want to hear from you. Submit your session suggestions by 14 June 2024, via the Session Proposal Online Form. Don't forget to share your ideas for potential keynote speakers!

Call for Workshops:

We're calling on workshop enthusiasts to propose sessions that complement our scientific programme. Whether you're an expert in eLTER legacy data management, long-term observations, or multi-scale and interdisciplinary modelling, your insights are invaluable. Submit your workshop proposals, including format, content description, and estimated participant numbers, by 14 June 2024, via the Workshop Proposal Online Form. We would be glad to collaborate with you to shape the future of environmental research!
