eLTER SPF Webinar: SITES Spectral – an infrastructure for collecting spectral data for ecosystem monitoring

This webinar will focus on how remotely sensed data is collected within in SITES Spectral, what the SITES Spectral program has to offer the user community and how the collected spectral data can be used, e.g., for understanding how vegetation processes relate to climate as well as upscaling to satellite data.    

SITES Spectral is an infrastructure for collecting spectral data for ecosystem monitoring by using fixed multispectral sensors mounted on masts or towers, phenological cameras and multispectral sensors on UAVs. Based on this infrastructure, SITES Spectral provides open access to spectral data via the SITES Data Portal.
