The Center for Volatile Interactions (VOLT) in Copenhagen, Denmark announced the following two open positions:
Who is it for?
An enthusiastic and ambitious candidate with an MSc degree in biology/ecology/ microbiology, geosciences, chemistry or similar fields obtained before the initiation of the PhD position. Experience with limnology, gas exchange measurements, VOC analytical techniques, isotope labelling, aquatic microbial ecology, molecular biology or metabolomics is an asset. Fluency in written and spoken English language is a requirement. A curious mindset and good interpersonal skills are a bonus. The main criterion for selection will be the research potential of the applicant; i.e. scientific publication(s) will be a strong asset.

Who is it for?
An enthusiastic and innovative scientist with the following competencies and experience: i) a PhD in a relevant field (e.g., bioinformatics, data science, chemometrics or a field related to the analyses performed in VOLT); ii) like to work with people and have good collaboration skills; iii) use scripts e.g. in R, Python, or Matlab to process and visualize data; iv) have experience in analyzing -omics or similarly large datasets; v) excellent written and spoken English skills.
