Winter Forest Ecology course at Hokkaido University, Japan

Hokkaido University Forests will hold the Winter Forest Ecology Course JAPAN from 26th February to 1st March 2024 in northern Hokkaido. The students targeted for this course are 3rd and 4th-year undergraduate and master's course students.

During the field course, the students will learn basic and applied knowledge about snow function, above and below-ground plant ecology, soil nutrient dynamics, carbon flux, and microbial activity in winter forest.
