eLTER SPF Webinar: Aquatic Remote Sensing

The eLTER SPF webinar on Aquatic Remote Sensing will be held online on January 24, 2024. The presenter will be Igor Ogashawara from the Department of Plankton and Microbial Ecology at the Leibniz-Institute of Freshwater Ecology and Inland Fisheries (IGB-Berlin). He is a member of the management team of the GEO AquaWatch where he is also the founder and co-chair of the Early Career Society and director of the calibration and validation node. Mr. Ogashawara is also a member of the H2020 Project "Water Scenarios For Copernicus Exploitation (Water-ForCE)" consortium. The presentation will focus on current and future technical capabilities of aquatic remote sensing and the opportunity to connect between remote sensing, in situ observations and modelling communities.
