Call for Postdoctoral Research Fellow in Global Change Biology, University of Michigan

The University of Michigan Institute for Global Change Biology (UM-IGCB) in collaboration with the Utah State University (USU) is seeking a Postdoctoral Research Fellow to lead an exciting project assessing the causes and consequences of lagging ecological community responses to climate change. 

The candidate will analyse and synthesise global change experiments and observations, with a focus on the plant communities and ecosystem acclimation to climate change. This position offers a unique opportunity to work with a cutting-edge interdisciplinary team and contribute to improving projections of climate change impacts, adaptation, and vulnerability.

This full-time postdoctoral position will be available for an initial duration of one year with the possibility of extension for a subsequent year contingent upon satisfactory academic performance and fulfillment of job responsibilities. The position will allow for direct collaboration and engagement with the vibrant research community at the University of Michigan campus in the city of Ann Arbor, Michigan.
