6th European Congress of Conservation Biology

"Biodiversity crisis in a changing world"

The 6th ECCB 2022 aims to bring together conservation biologists, environmental economists, practitioners, policy makers and social scientists including students, NGO representatives and academics. They will not only report on latest results, but also explore the role of conservation science in policy formation and effective practice. The congress will provide unique opportunities for exchange and networking.

To date, three renowned conservation biologists are confirmed as plenary speakers: Luigi Boitani, Eszter Kelemen and Zuzana Münzbergová. An exciting panel discussion is also planned where we will return to William Sutherland's visionary talk 13 years ago at the 2nd ECCB and review the key achievements since that time, as well as the challenges ahead. The list of symposia and workshops highlight that an interesting and engaging in-person meeting is ahead.

You are invited to submit abstracts (oral presentations, speed presentations, posters or invited symposia presentations) according to the topics of the scientific programme. Abstract Submission Portal is open to February 15th, 2022. For submitting abstracts, please use the form on https://www.eccb2022.eu/en/call-for-abstracts. More information is available on the congress website.
